Mikko lehtinen was born 1975 in Lahti, Finland. he studied marketing, acting and theatre & cultural history, then started as a production assistant on mtv3 tv channel, and he worked on several feature films.
after a few years he found himself more and more working in directing commercials, where now he successfully did already over 400 spots around the whole world. he has worked for many major international brands like Ikea, coca cola, mc donald's, Tesco, volkswagen, virgin mobile, milka, Finnair, kinder, yandex, dr.oetker, t-mobile, Nokia, land rover and the guardian newspaper.
mikko also has been a partner and founder of several film production companies including ´also staring` in Helsinki, ´tantrum productions` in London and ´sauna international` in London.
also he was the managing director of ´flow d.o.o.`, responsible of producing the flow festival in Ljubljana.
mikko is a very talented storyteller and always gets right to the heart.
